The breakfast buffet overlooking the river was amazing 🍽️ The room was comfy, but very basic. A bit pricey for what you get, especially on rainy days without umbrellas.

The river view from my room was fine, but I was disappointed by the lack of hot water.

the location was stunning and lovely close to the main attraction in thanjavur city. further, it was right by ideal river view resort for 2 nights from 14th jan 2020 until 16th jan 2020, the kaveri river and the banks of the cauvery river.

Their staff were very unpleasant.

Fairly clean place & caring and patient staff on our request. Outdoor restaurant, well decorated room with bedroom, wood furniture and a bath😃

The serene atmosphere by the river kept me relaxed . The spacious River View Room with Balcony offered fine views. Breakfast by the garden was good with plenty of options. The fresh Onam Sadya meal really showcased the chef's talent. I faced some issues with hot water availability. It wasn't consistent. The dining experience could improve, as service was a bit slow. The amenities like the pool and nearby gardens were great for unwinding after a day of exploring.

Location so close to the river outside Tanjore, the banks of the Cauvery River and the main attraction. Well presented food in the outdoor restaurant in the vicinity. Fashionable and recently refurbished room, had a very nice stay during our previous visit...

Amazing and lovely location with parking on-site. The pool area is great too.

The location is serene, with peaceful views of the river, and the spacious River View Room with Balcony provided a perfect escape. The amenities were great, including a comfortable bathroom with a bathtub and great dining options. The staff's professionalism.

The dining experience was hampered by slow service and a lack of options, which can be disappointing.

The breakfast was okay, but the sugary jams were such a HUGE letdown. The wifi only works in the reception- like, what a joke! As a 'special guest', I expected an upgrade but got nothing. Sorry folks, but I just couldn't be bothered to praise this unimpressive place.

The location by the Cauvery River is serene and perfect for a relaxed getaway. The villas are well-equipped and provide a comfortable stay. I enjoyed the excellent Onam Sadya meal at the restaurant, which highlights the culinary strength of their kitchen.

While the rooms were nice, I found them a bit basic for the price point.

Staying at Great Trails Riverview Thanjavur was a heavenly experience! The serene atmosphere by the river, coupled with the spacious rooms and warm hospitality. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was good, complemented by live music. Indoor and outdoor activities were plentiful. A fantastic getaway!

Staying here with my teenage kids was fantastic! The spacious room was perfect for our family and the hotel had beautiful grounds for walks. We especially enjoyed the unique farm experience and fresh coconut offered by the staff.

My kids wished there were more indoor activities for a rainy day.

Serene spot beside the Cauvery River, where the freshly prepared meals were served on banana leaves! The pool and garden area were perfect for relaxation and family bonding.

The breakfast options could use a bit more variety to match the wonderful setting.

The place was clean with a pleasant staff. Had a queen room, and we loved it. Particularly good and absolutely perfect location - just a walk down to everywhere we needed.
